Learning the joy of the work! I've expanded my experience of art to focus on the verb more than the noun. I used to hinder my expression by being concerned by the outcome of a piece: whether I could sell it, or how good it would be when finished. Instead now I've found that simply enjoying doing a piece is amazing and fulfilling, and is the real reason art, and artists, exist!
As you can see from my gallery, I'm interested in many different styles of artwork, including pretty much any medium I can get my hands on. I hear that eventually an artist settles in and finds her "voice" - but I guess time will tell what moves my heart and hands the most, and whether one form pulls me more than others. I have definitely felt the need to draw more than anything else recently.
